Open Call: CCA secret postcard fundraiser

Could you donate a small, unframed artwork to CCA to be exhibited during Cambridge Open Studios July 2024?

To celebrate the creativity of our learners and supporters, 10 years of Cambridge Community Arts, and raise much-needed funding to support our work we will be holding a secret postcard sale.

The joy of this exhibition will be showing professional and non-professional artists’  work alongside each other – all appreciated for their individual merits – with buyers taking them home simply because they love them, not because they are swayed by a name.

To buy a pint-sized artwork we will be asking for a minimum donation; buyers will be able to donate more should they choose to do so.

Where The Artists’ Marquee, Burwash Manor

When Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 July 10am – 5pm

How to get involved

We would love to receive donations of unframed postcard-sized artworks (approximately 15 x 10 cm, but this is just a guideline).

Please deliver donated work by Wednesday 17 July to:

Artwork should be created using or mounted on a stiff material, such as cardboard, so that it can stand on shelves during the exhibition. We welcome all styles and media, and are really excited to see what you produce! You are welcome to send us more than one artwork.

On the back of the artwork – please include:

·         Your name

·         Contact details (if you wish the buyer to have this information)

·         A sentence about why you support CCA or what CCA means to you

On the front of the artwork

·         Can be whatever you want!

·         But please do not sign the work on the front
